How to get involved

We will be having an information session after school in the media center on September 27, 2018 for any interested students. We will also be at the activity fair on September 25, 2018. If you cannot make either of those events, please visit the enrollment link and fill out the form. Be sure to request access to our group at to get the latest news and updates.

Who we are

EBTECS is an exciting program at EBHS that allows you to exchange your personal technology knowledge with adults who may not know as much. One Saturday each month, you will be able to gain two hours of community service by teaching the adults about their devices. As a member, you also get many other perks, such as free snacks at each meeting as well as various student events.

Additional ways to gain community service

We offer various different ways to gain extra community service if you are unable to meet the 15 hour requirement just from our meetings. You can gain an extra hour of community service by submitting a completed TecTalk article to us to be used on our website. Please view the TecTalk tab for a general idea of what we are looking for. We also sometimes ask for people who want to help us out with creating posters and flyers. Listen up during our meetings for these opportunities. Additionally, you can earn an extra hour for every person you recommend to our club. If you have exhausted all of your options, simply ask us for other ways to help. We (almost) always have something for you to do.
